Highlights of October News for November
Melati Beach ResortDear Friends,
Another month is coming to the end and when most of the Europe is celebrating the first snow, Koh Samui is still indulging us with sunshine, gentle sea breezes and short refreshing tropical rains. A small paradise 365 days a year! So if you are tired from the grey and cold, please note that we are more than happy to warm you up with our hospitality and tropical environment.

One of the main events of October was a Traditional Buddhist Wedding Ceremony held at Melati, and to say that it was great is to say nothing—it was stunning. First of all, because of extremely strong feelings of bride and groom; their love is so strong that they made everyone around them happy. Secondly, during the ceremony everything was filled with magic and ancient traditions under the direction of our Expert Wedding Planner; a truly unforgettable experience.

Another important event of October was introduction of a new award-winning signature treatment at Melati Spa—An Indigenous Coconut Experience. Combining a unique blend of natural ingredients and traditional herbs as well as modern massage techniques, guests can now experience a totally unique relaxation of body, mind and soul.

The signature spa at Melati Beach Resort was recently recognized for outstanding achievements at the recent Koh Samui Spa Fair 2011 "World Record for Thai Massage" event on August 25, 2011. The event was held at Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui. Melati Spa received top prize for 2 catagories:

• Chilled Health Drink by Ms. Supawadee Suttisamdaeng

• Signature Treatment in Koh Samui by Ms. Khansawita Phanpheng.

Ms. Phangpheng was also awarded runner-up to best therapist on the island and incidentally Melati took the second prize as well as the first in the Signature Treatment category!
